What we will be cooking
We will be cooking one type of dish from each meal of the day. One breakfast, one lunch, one snack, one dinner, one beverage, and one dessert. Before cooking we will go to an Indian market to get the necessary spices and ingredients. We will be making a cola shake, a paneer sandwich, fried chicken, our snack will be naan, dinner is butter chicken with rice, and dessert is jalebi. We will post the details once we've made them.

Traditional Indian Meal
Indian meals are very different than in America. They serve all their food in one course. A traditional meal consists of condiments such as chutney, pickles, and beans. There is also salad. The salad is similar to America but uses spices such as paprika to add piZaZZ. After that comes the fried foods such as samosas. Samosas are very delicious and spicy! They can be dipped in many different types of chutney and sauces. Then, arguably the most important part is the curry. There are countless amounts of curries in India. Butter chicken is my favorite! Also there is the rice or bread that is the base of the meal. The most common type of bread is naan which is eaten all over the world. Finally there is dessert. Common desserts are bread pudding or carrot cakes. All these wonderful foods are usually enjoyed with water or sweet fruit drinks.
